The First Amendment guarantees rights to worship and to peacefully assemble. In order to protect public health, many 'shelter-in-place' orders are limiting the ability of church members to gather and worship. In Florida, a pastor was arrested after he chose to ignore the order. Is this different from 'essential businesses' that continue to gather people together? How do we determine who's right? When can our First Amendment rights be limited?
